The ChallengeConsumer car hardware has no safety intelligence - no obstacle awareness, no driver-assist features, and no way to verify who's operating it.
The ApproachBuilt a dual-processor pipeline (Raspberry Pi + STM32) running YOLOv8 for object and sign detection, fused with LiDAR + camera sensor data for adaptive safety, plus a mobile telemetry app and a custom Face-ID system for biometric-secured ignition.
The Impact<300ms processing latency, a 25% faster system response, and 1st Place - Best Research Paper at MTC IUGRC-9, honored by General Ahmed Khalifa, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces.

The ChallengeIndustrial sites need PPE-compliance monitoring, but cloud-based vision pipelines mean sending sensitive facility footage off-site - unacceptable for security-conscious operations.
The ApproachDesigned a fully cloud-free pipeline using YOLOv11 + SORT tracking for real-time PPE detection, custom-trained on 5,000+ images with Mosaic Augmentation, backed by a FastAPI + MongoDB stack for automated violation logging and dashboard alerts.
